GROUP LEADERS

Find out more about La Coupole, History Centre and 3D Planetarium, two facilities available for youth groups

La Coupole, History Centre and 3D Planetarium, offers a wide range of activities tailored to specific age groups. The themes for discovery workshops include learning solar system, life in outer space, or everyday life during WW2.

All activities are designed and prepared by professional facilitators. Our hands-on workshops tackle the key themes of History, Science, and the Space Race to make them accessible and fun to learn about.

You can spend a full or half-day at the site, participating in the tours and activities which interest you the most.

Audio-guided tour of the History Centre

Once equipped with your headset, the tour begins along the former underground railway tunnel. At the end of this tunnel, a lift then takes you up 42 metres to arrive under the huge concrete dome originally built to protect the launch preparation chamber for firing the V2 rockets. It is here that the History Centre’s cinemas present two different tours: “Northern France in the grip of the German Occupation” at the Cinéac and at the Rex “New Weapons, the V1 and V2”.

With your latest-generation active 3D glasses, settle into your seat, inclined at just the right angle for the best possible experience, and enjoy your journey into the starry sky thanks to the 360° screen.
